The DWCDC operates housing programs for residents of Northwest Georgia. Whether homeless, in need of temporary assistance, or looking to buy a home, we help people navigate a wide range of housing issues.
Our HUD-certified housing counselor works one-on-one with first-time homebuyers, as well as current homeowners in danger of foreclosure.
We operate a Permanent Supportive Housing program, which provides affordable rentals to formerly homeless individuals who are also disabled.
Our Transitional Housing program provides affordable, furnished apartments to families with children who previously lived in motels.
We operate a Health Support Housing program that provides emergency assistance and housing choice vouchers to low-income people with a qualifying health condition.
Our Accountability Court Housing provides accommodations for Whitfield County's accountability courts, ensuring participants have a safe place to live while completing the program.
