Building Pathways to Stable, Affordable Housing in Northwest georgia
The Dalton-Whitfield Community Development Corporation helps families access safe housing, supportive services, and long-term stability - one household at a time.
What we Do
Permanent Supportive Housing
Our Permanent Supportive Housing program provides safe, affordable rentals to formerly homeless individuals who are also disabled.
HealtH Support Housing
Our Health Support Housing program provides a range of housing assistance for people with a qualifying health condition.
Housing Counseling
Our HUD-certified housing counselor supports first-time homebuyers, renters, and current homeowners facing financial difficulty or foreclosure.
our Impact Snapshot
Every year, our programs touch hundreds of lives through both one-time emergency assistance and long-term support.
“The DWCDC has made a real difference in my family’s life. Having stable housing gave us the chance to breathe, reset, and focus on moving forward instead of just surviving day to day. Their support and structure helped us regain stability and hope for the future. Because of them, we are finally in a position to get back on our feet and work toward long-term independence.”
MEET OUR TEAM
DWCDC has supported Northwest Georgia residents for over 20 years through housing counseling, permanent housing programs, transitional housing, and community partnerships. Our mission is to build safe, stable pathways to long-term housing stability.
